CG Public Health’s Immunization Program ensures vaccinations are accessible for everyone—adults, children, and adolescents. We keep vaccine information up-to-date and partner with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (IHHS) to provide vaccines through the Vaccine For Children Program and the Vaccine For Adults Program. We break down barriers, educate providers on vaccinations, and offer vaccine recommendations for school-age children. Each year, we conduct vaccination audits with schools and childcare centers to ensure compliance with vaccine requirements.

CG Public Health is enrolled in the Immunization Registry Information System (IRIS), which is a secure statewide database of immunization records. Iowa HHS and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) publish Immunization Recommendations by Age.
